A/S Sjællandske Avistryk

is an independent company owned by A/S Sjællandske Dagblade and Berlingske by 50% each. In the printing house they partly print new papers for Sjællandske Dagblade and partly carry out job production from customers at home and abroad.

HOH received an enquiry for a system that would ensure completely homogeneous water to the new rotary printing machine with a hardness of 10°dH. To comply with the demands, HOH has supplied reverse osmosis plants producing demineralised water. Through a metering unit 0.5 % of a chemical is added, which at the stated amount gives a hardness of 10°dH. Subsequently the 100 % homogeneous and constant water is led to the printing machine via a buffer tank, ensuring that the fundamental basis for an optimum pressure is in order.
