Hospitals

The Danish county hospital in Herlev use a reverse osmosis plant for production of water to the entire hospital. The plant has a water recovery of up to 90% and the highest standard within control and monitoring.

Pharmaceutical industry

NOVO Nordisk

The plant consists of following: softening, reverse osmosis and EDI. The plant has a capacity of 600 litres per hour with possibility for extension up to 3.4 m³ per hour.

The plant is designed in compliance with the strict pharmaceutical demands which among others the American authorities (FDA) make on that kind of plants.

High-technology industry

GN ReSound in Præstø produces hearing aids and the production process makes great demands on technology. Consequently it is essential that the water used in the production is extremely pure.

GN ReSound has therefore installed reverse osmosis plants for treatment of the water. A standard RO-2100 plant, softening plant and mixed-bed 1030 which handle the cleaning of the water before it enters into the process of laser cutting of the tiny parts that form part of a hearing aid.
